Rescue Cat Misty Paws Dental

Misty Paws has had her dental work done and only has two teeth left! She is feeling good though and eating wet and dry food. Her ChipIn ends today 14th Oct so further updates can be found on "Feline Fancies" Facebook Page

Misty Paws had a vet visit on Friday and had an exam and blood and urine taken. Her abscessed mouth has caused some kidney damage and she is in Stage 2 of CRF (Chronic Renal Failure) and now requires sub q fluids. Her dental is booked for the 12th not the 20th so ChipIn fund will end soon. Please share her story with others to help raise money for her dental work. THANK YOU ALL!

Had a visit with her in her temporary foster home today. She is still quite uncomfortable with the other cats in the home and keeps to herself just venturing out to eat and drink. She will visit the vet soon and have a check up and hopefully bloodwork. Her dental is booked for Oct (that was the earliest they could make an appt). Thank you ALL for your help. Most of you know that Misty Paws (surrendered by her owners) was saved within hours of her vet appointment to be put to sleep. Thankfully she has a great temporary foster home but still needs a permanent home/foster and major dental work. At 13 she already has her age against her when looking for a home as most potential cat homes are looking for kittens or younger cats. With bad teeth her chances lower even more as dental extractions are expensive. She may even need all her teeth removed as her mouth is in bad shape. Misty Paws is not too proud to be asking for help. Her mouth is painful and she has already had an abscess from a rotten tooth.
